Ebensburg Tennis Center
Ebensburg Tennis Center gives players a reliable place to play, practice, and improve year-round. The facility serves members, guests, juniors, adults, and families with reservable courts, instruction, clinics, events, court rentals, and a pro shop.
Play Year-Round
Members can reserve courts online and use 24-hour facility access, making it easy to fit tennis into a regular routine. Guests and non-members are welcome with advance arrangements for court time, payment, and temporary entry access.
Lessons, Clinics, and Programs
Players can build skills through individual lessons, group lessons, adult clinics, and junior clinics. Instruction is available through USPTA-certified professional Jamie Taylor, with programming for beginners, returning players, and experienced competitors.
Membership and Court Time
The center offers membership options, court rental, lesson pricing, and all-you-can-play programs. New players should contact the center before their first visit so staff can help with the right access option and current availability.

Event Overview
The Johnstown Open Tennis Tournament is scheduled for June 26, 27, and 28, 2026. The event is organized by the Greater Johnstown Tennis Association (GJTA) and will be held at the Ebensburg Tennis Center in Ebensburg, PA.
Registration Details
- Deadline: June 22, 2026.
- Payment: Checks must be made payable to GJTA and mailed with the registration form. No phone entries are accepted.
- Cost: $35 for the first event and $25 for a second event.
- Requirements: Players must bring one new can of Penn Championship Extra Duty tennis balls per event.
Tournament Rules & Information
- Membership: USTA membership is not required to enter.
- Scoring: Matches consist of the first two sets. If players split the first two sets, a 10-point Super Tie-Breaker is played instead of a third set.
- Scheduling: Starting times will be emailed after Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Players must report to the scorer's desk 15 minutes prior to their match time.
- Limits: Players may participate in no more than two tournament events.
- Awards: Awards will be presented to winners and finalists.

- Singles: 3. 0, 3. 5, 4. 0, and Open (4. 5+)
- Doubles: 6. 0, 7. 0, 8. 0, and Open (8. 5+)
- Mixed Doubles: 6. 0, 7. 0, 8. 0, and Open (8. 5+)
