Overview
The Ebensburg Municipal Authority has adopted Resolution #2014-04 to establish a fee structure for the operation and maintenance of the borough's stormwater management system. This resolution imposes user fees on developed properties that are connected to, serviced by, or benefit from the system.
Fee Structure and Rates
The resolution outlines specific charges based on property type, effective from September 1, 2014.
Single-Household Detached Residential Dwellings:
- Charged at a rate of one (1) Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU) per dwelling unit.
- Initial Rate: $4. 00 per month ($48. 00 annually).
- Rate Increase: Effective January 1, 2016, the charge increases to $8. 00 per month ($96. 00 annually).
- Future adjustments to this rate may be made by the Authority.
Other Developed Parcels (Non-Single Household):
- Charges are based on the square footage of measured impervious surface (e. g. , roofs, driveways).
- The area is converted into ERUs by rounding up to the next highest half ERU.
- Minimum Charge: No parcel is charged less than one (1) ERU.
- Maximum Charge: No parcel is charged more than thirty (30) ERUs.
