Key Components and Specifications The diagram outlines the following hardware and installation standards: Frame and Cover: Must be East Jordan Iron Works Inc. (Pattern No. 1565) or Neenah Model No. R-1975-A2 (or equal). Piping Material: The trap, vent, and cleanout assembly must be PVC, Schedule 40 pipe and fittings. Connection to Lateral: Use a coupling of the same type as the pipe (SDR-35) or adapt to Sch. 40 if applicable. Cleanout: A cleanout pipe is required with a length as needed (req'd). Backflow Prevention: A backflow prevention device is marked as optional but recommended. Venting: An air vent cap is required, extending at least 12 inches above the ground. Notes A 4-inch view port stack is acceptable in cases where the service stub is 4 inches.
