Opening Procedures

The meeting agenda begins with standard protocol, including a call to order, the Pledge of Allegiance, and public comments. Attendees are invited to address the board directly. The minutes from the previous meeting in September 2025 are scheduled for approval.

Old Business Updates

The board reviewed updates regarding the YPCC and Memorial Ballfields:

• YPCC Updates:
  • Roof Repair: Completed on November 2, 2025.
  • Upcoming Bingo: Scheduled for November 14, 2025.
  • Halloween Party: Described as a success, featuring 12 vendors and over 200 attendees.
  • Winter Basketball League: The registration deadline is November 15th. A mandatory coaches meeting will be held on December 16th.
• Memorial Ballfields:
  • Maintenance: A new door was installed on the men's bathroom on November 4, 2025, along with keypad locks to replace the existing ones.
  • Funding: The grant for these improvements is still pending.
  • Other Fields: Items regarding McDonald’s Field and First Energy Fields were noted.

New Business

The primary new business item concerns the Lake Grant, which outlines planned improvements:

• Playground 1: A larger playground located by the ball field.
• Playground 2: A smaller playground located by the "big blue chair. "
• Fitness: Installation of outdoor fitness equipment near the trail.
• Safety: Improvements to outdoor lighting and security.
• Amenities: Construction of a concession stand and restrooms.
