Ebensburg Borough Recreation Board Meeting Summary Date: Wednesday, July 9, 2025 Old Business Updates The board reviewed updates regarding four main facilities: YPCC (Young People's Christian Center): Roof repairs are pending; the board must post for public bid, and information has been sent to Kelly. A survey is being conducted for the hockey rink. The next bingo event is scheduled for July 11, 2025. Pool: Pumps were fixed and reinstalled on July 1, 2025. Two Hayward heaters were installed and are currently under warranty. Discussions with the borough manager and maintenance staff covered installing a sump pump in the mechanical room, cleaning up the creek behind the pool, and addressing issues with the bridge behind the pool. Tennis Center: Gittings has partially installed the fire alarm system. The lobby is set up, but the team is waiting on parts to complete the rest of the building. Memorial Ballfields: Security alarms and locks have been installed on the concession stand door, bathrooms, and shed. The men's room door requires repair or replacement to ensure it closes automatically. New Business There was no new business discussed.
