Meeting Overview

The Ebensburg Municipal Authority is scheduled to hold its regular meeting on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 4:00 p. m. The meeting will take place at the Borough office located at 300 West High Street, Ebensburg, PA.

Agenda Highlights

Consent Agenda (Routine Business)

The following items are considered routine and will be acted upon by a single motion unless members request separate discussion:

  • Minutes: Approval of the minutes from the September 2025 regular meeting.
  • Financials: Approval of the Financial Statement for September 2025.
  • Bills: Approval of bills totaling $190,794. 53 for October 2025.

Inframark Reports

  • Wastewater: Luke Byrne will provide a report on projects and activities at the wastewater treatment plant.
  • Water: Luke Byrne will provide a report on projects and activities at the water treatment plant.

Engineer & Operations

  • Operations: Jerry Poruban will report on the public works department’s activities for the month.
  • Pennvest Requisitions: The Engineer will review several requisitions, including:
    • Requisition #19 (Waterline): Amount of $39,325. 90.
    • Pay Request #11 (Stormwater project): Amount of $35,000. 00.
    • Requisition #11 (Stormwater): Amount of $100,842. 54.

General Business

  • Nanty Glo Water Agreement: The Authority will consider a motion to ratify the prior motion approving the EMA/NGWA Water Connection and Purchase Agreement.

Public & Media Participation

  • Public Comments: The public is invited to comment on agenda items at the beginning and end of the meeting.
  • Media: Representatives are invited to ask questions on any issues, whether or not they are on the agenda.
  • Executive Session: An executive session will be held for advice of counsel.
