Meeting Overview
The Ebensburg Municipal Authority is scheduled to hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 4:00 p. m. The meeting will take place at the Borough office located at 300 West High Street, Ebensburg, PA.

Agenda Highlights
Consent Agenda (Item 2)
The following routine items are grouped for a single motion approval:
- Item 10A: Approval of the minutes from the September 2023 regular monthly meeting.
- Item 10B: Approval of the Financial Statement for September 2023.
- Item 10C: Approval of the payment of bills for October 2023.
Inframark Reports (Item 5)
- Wastewater Treatment Plant: Mike Montgomery will provide a report on projects and activities.
- Water Treatment Plant: Luke Byrne will provide a report on projects and activities.
Engineer Reports (Item 8)
Several financial requests and project updates are presented for review:
- High Street Waterline Project: A contractor payment request (#12) for $4,813. 28 is recommended for approval to W. A. Petrakis.
- PENNVEST Requisition: A reimbursement request (#13) for $28,894. 78 is submitted for approval.
- Manor Drive- Lovell Project: A pay estimate (#3) for $274,662. 16 is recommended for approval to Continental Construction.
- Stormwater Projects: A motion is proposed to authorize the submission of an application for PENNVEST funding for Phase 1 of a Stormwater Project.
General Business (Item 10)
- PENNVEST Funding Offer: The Authority received a funding offer for Phase 1 Waterline Replacement and Lead Service Line Replacement.
- Lead Service Line: Grant of $492,706 and a 1% interest loan of $136,664.
- Phase 1 Replacement: Grant of $2,983,725 and a 1% interest loan of $4,922,366.
- Total Offer: A loan of $5,059,030 and a grant for $3,476,431.
- Waterline Replacement Project: If the PENNVEST offer is accepted, the Authority will advertise for bids immediately.
Public Participation
- Public Comments: Invited during Item 1 and Item 12.
- Media Comments: Representatives are invited to comment and ask questions during Item 11.
