Engineer's Report (Item 8)
The Engineer reviewed several specific financial and project items:
- High Street Waterline Project: Approved a contractor payment request of $408,561. 81 to W. A. Petrakis (Item 7A).
- PENNVest Requisition: Approved a reimbursement request to PENNVest in the amount of $430,144. 68 (Item 7B).
- Water Treatment Plant Piping Upgrades: The Authority requested a look at an old study. Staff requires an estimate of engineering costs to secure financing for the project (Item 7C).
Operations & Maintenance
- Josh Surkovich reported on the public works department's activities for the month. No action was required.
Other Business
- Media & Public Comments: Sections were held for media questions and public comments.
- Executive Session: The meeting included a session to receive advice from legal counsel.
