Agenda Highlights

1. Public Comments & Consent Agenda

  • Public Comments: The public is invited to comment on any agenda item.
  • Consent Agenda (Items 10A-10C): Routine items to be approved by a single motion:
    • Approval of minutes from the April 2026 regular monthly meeting.
    • Approval of Financial Statements for April & May 2026.
    • Approval of bill payments for May & June 2026.

2. Departmental Reports

  • Inframark (Items 5A & 5B): Luke Byrne will provide reports on Wastewater and Water Treatment Plant operations.
  • Operations & Maintenance: Jerry Poruban will report on public works department activities for the month.
  • Solicitor: Report on the review of the American Tower lease; Executive session may be held to discuss real estate issues.
  • Engineer: John Clabaugh will review items contained in the engineering report.

3. General Business & Financials (Item 10)

  • Minutes: Approval of previous meeting minutes.
  • Financial Statement: Approval of the financial statement for July 2026.
  • Bills: Approval of bills totaling $130,719. 40 for July.
  • Water Treatment Plant: Consideration of a pilot study plan for the engineering review of the Water Treatment Plant replacement.
  • American Tower LLC: Approval of a contract extension for a land lease parcel. This includes a one-time payment of $20,000 and monthly rent currently at $912. 53, with a 15% increase per term over 5 years.
  • Elderwood Drive Study: A motion to design and develop a plan to replace the failing sewer main and connect/replace water service, including an application for a Small Water and Sewer project grant.
  • Water Shut-off Fees: Discussion on increasing fees for water shut-off requests. The current fee of $25 does not cover the 1 hour of manpower required; a resolution for 2027 fees will be prepared.

4. Closing Items

  • Media Comments: Representatives invited to comment or ask questions.
  • Executive Session: To be held if needed to discuss real estate matters.
