Ebensburg WWTP Monthly Report: June 2024 Report Date: July 22, 2024 Prepared by: Inframark Water Infrastructure Operations Executive Summary & Operations During June 2024, the Ebensburg wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) treated a total of 14,597,800 gallons of wastewater, averaging 486,600 gallons per day . Key operational highlights included: Sludge Management: The centrifuge operated twice a week on average, sending 9. 114 tons of dry sludge to the landfill. Equipment Maintenance: Three new WAS pumps were ordered to replace worn units; installation is planned for July. Two faulty level sensors in the SBR tanks were replaced. The wet well holding tank was cleaned out. Pump #2 remains locked out due to a broken conduit and exposed wires; Dodson Electric is handling repairs. Centrifuge sludge pumps were inspected. Pump #1 (rebuilt in 2023) is in good condition, while Pump #2 shows wear but remains functional. The peristaltic hose on the effluent auto sampler was replaced due to a pinhole leak. Lift Stations: Sewer lift stations were inspected regularly. Basket screeners were cleaned, fence repairs were made at Industrial Park locations, brush was cleared, and generator fuel sources were filled. Maintenance & Repair Activities Inframark staff completed 97 work orders in June. Major maintenance tasks included: Greasing decanters on SBR tanks and the screening unit. Daily hosing and cleaning of the influent screening unit. Replacing SBR level sensors. Inspecting centrifuge sludge pumps and pulling/inspecting WAS pumps. Repairing the auto sampler. Cleaning SBR#1, the process water chamber, and digester weirs/troughs (#3 and #4). Monthly safety inspections were completed. UV trough, bulbs, and sensors were hosed and cleaned. Oil and belts on blowers were checked daily; grease was applied weekly. The centrifuge building floor was hosed, and the centrifuge itself was greased. State School weir box was inspected. Control building floors were swept and mopped weekly. Grass cutting was performed.
