Ebensburg WWTP Monthly Report - March 2024 Report Date: April 22, 2024 Prepared by: Luke Byrne, Inframark Water Infrastructure Operations Executive Summary During March 2024, the Ebensburg wastewater treatment plant treated a total of 22,618,500 gallons of wastewater. This equates to an average daily flow of 729,629 gallons . All operational and testing requirements were met for the month. Key maintenance activities included: Replacing a failing UV panel touch screen (covered under warranty). Replacing leaking hydraulic hoses on the UV system. Cleaning overflow chambers for digesters #3 and #4. Repairing unsafe east wet well access hatches by replacing hinges and installing props. Cleaning rags and debris from basket screeners at pumping stations. Installing three new pressure gauges at the Emerald Estates pumping station. Fixing a wiring issue with louvers at the Industrial Park Caterpillar pumping station. Installing and starting up a new automatic transfer switch for Emerald Estates on March 14th. Replacing the expired battery backup system for the dialer at Emerald Estates. Operations & Maintenance Inframark staff completed 113 work orders in March. Routine operations included: Daily inspections of screening units, grit removal processes, and influent/effluent samplers. Weekly greasing of centrifuges and blowers. Daily hosing and cleaning of the influent screening unit, UV trough, bulbs, and sensors. Weekly safety inspections. Snow removal and salting as needed. Upcoming Maintenance ("On the Radar"): Level sensors for SBR tanks. Cleaning of UV chamber and SBR tanks. Centrifuge flow meter. Screening unit bearings and brushes. Process water duckweed issues.
