Ebensburg WWTP Monthly Report: February 2025 Report Date: March 24, 2025 Submitted by: Luke Byrne, Inframark Executive Summary & Operations During February 2025, the Ebensburg wastewater treatment plant treated a total of 29,925,000 gallons of wastewater (averaging 1,068,750 gallons per day). The month was characterized by wet weather with rain, snow, and ice events. Sludge Management: The centrifuge was operated weekly, resulting in 15. 12 tons of dry sludge sent to the landfill. A new contract with Waste Management was negotiated to provide reduced rates for hauling. Equipment Repairs: A new garage door actuator was installed on the centrifuge building. The Trojan UV HMI touchscreen failed (the third time in four years). It was covered under warranty, and the screen was replaced. Additional moisture-reduction measures (outdoor cover, new seal, desiccant beads) were installed. Three bulbs and four wipers were replaced on the UV system. Lift Stations: Emerald Estates: A bad float was discovered causing two pumps to run continuously. The float was replaced, and the pumps are now operating properly. Industrial Park Marine Center: This station continues to experience higher-than-normal flows. Inframark has recommended investigating the area for a possible water main break. Maintenance & Financials Inframark staff completed 91 work orders in February. Key maintenance activities included greasing decanters, cleaning screening units and digester weirs, and performing snow removal. Personnel have worked 1,855 days (5 years and 2 months) without an accident or injury. Training topics included weekly tailgate meetings, slips/trips/falls prevention, and Trojan SCADA control SOPs.
