Ebensburg WWTP Monthly Report: October 2025 Date: November 24, 2025 Prepared by: Luke Byrne, Inframark Executive Summary & Operations Wastewater Treated: The plant treated a total of 16,759,100 gallons in October, averaging 540,616 gallons per day. Sludge Disposal: 12. 9 tons of dry sludge were sent to the landfill. Major Repair: Inframark and RAM Industrial completed a significant liner replacement on the centrifuge auger. This project saved the authority $16,000 compared to a factory quote and restored equipment to normal operating condition. Sludge Hauling: Stutzman Hauling filled drying beds with sludge from the Somerset Water Authority. Equipment Issues: Exhaust Fan: Dodson Electric is investigating a failed motor in the headworks building exhaust fan. Until repaired, doors are kept open for ventilation (a temporary measure not viable in winter). UV Unit: Staff responded to a low coolant pressure fault. The issue was traced to an air lock, and levels were replenished. Testing: Annual Whole Effluent Toxicity Testing (WETT) was conducted and passed all parameters. Lift Stations: All three lift stations were inspected regularly. No leaks were found, and all floats/transducers are working properly. Maintenance & Financials Work Orders: Staff completed 90 work orders in October. Key Maintenance Tasks: Included greasing decanters and screening units, cleaning UV channels and basins, tensioning grit blow belts, installing new LED bulbs, and general facility cleaning.
