Ebensburg Municipal Authority: May 2025 WTP Monthly Report Date: June 23rd, 2025 Submitted by: Luke Byrne, Inframark Water Infrastructure Operations Executive Summary & Plant Operations During May 2025, the Ebensburg water treatment plant treated a total of 36,835,000 gallons of reservoir water. This represents an average daily production of 1,188,226 gallons , which is a significant increase compared to the previous year. Water Sourcing: An average of 63,854 gallons per day was purchased from Saltlick and blended into the distribution system. Production Range: Daily plant production fluctuated between 1,097,000 and 1,317,000 gallons. Reservoir Levels: The upper reservoir water level is currently at -1 ft and is rising due to recent precipitation. Maintenance & Repairs Inframark staff completed 65 work orders in May. Key activities included: Equipment Servicing: Hillcrest generator serviced (May 19th); found in good condition. DAF permanganate pump taken offline for maintenance; injector valve cleaned and lines cleared. DAF Recycle pump rebuilt. Ogden vault pumped out due to groundwater infiltration. Inspections & Cleaning: Fire extinguisher and ladder inspections performed. Clarifier troughs cleaned; grease applied to clarifier drives and finished water pumps/motors. pH and turbidity meters cleaned weekly. Facility swept and cleaned. Repairs: Two cable bolts replaced on the gas chlorine scale. Chlorine scale bolt repair completed. Two light bulbs replaced at Saltlick. Compliance & Sampling All samples collected in May were found to be in compliance with state regulations. Bacteriological: Nine samples collected; zero total coliform positives. Chemical: Annual sampling of inorganic (IOC), volatile organic (VOC), and synthetic organic compounds (SOC) completed. Chlorine: Five samples collected in the distribution system; all met the minimum requirement of 0. 20mg/L free chlorine. Lead and Copper: Sampling scheduled for upcoming months ("On the Radar"). Safety Record: Personnel have worked 1,947 days (5 years, 5 months) without an accident or injury. Training: Weekly tailgate meetings and PPE Program updates were conducted.
