Ebensburg Homecoming 5K/15K Race & Duathlon

Event Overview

The Ebensburg Homecoming 5K/15K Race and Duathlon will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026. The event features a fast, fairly flat course on the Ebensburg Rails to Trails.

Schedule

• Registration & Check-in: 7:15 AM to 8:15 AM (for 5K/15K) and 7:15 AM to 10:15 AM (for Duathlon).
• 5K & 15K Race Start: 8:30 AM.
• Duathlon Start: 10:30 AM.

Race Details & Rules

• 5K/15K: Standard running race.
• Duathlon: Consists of a 2-mile run, an 8. 5-mile bike ride, and a final 2-mile run.
• Bike Requirements: Duathletes are no longer required to use a mountain bike; all bikes are permitted, but helmets are mandatory.
• Amenities: Refreshments (beverages, fruit, and cookies) will be provided after the race. Restrooms will be available.

• Start/Finish: Ebensburg Rails to Trails at the YPCC.

Entry Fees

• 5K/15K Race: $20
• Duathlon: $25
• Both 5K/15K & Duathlon: $30
• Shirt Surcharge: An additional $10 is required if shirts are sold out.

Awards

• 5K & 15K: Homemade Apple Pies awarded to the Top 2 Finishers (Male and Female) Overall, as well as the Top 2 in the following age groups:
  • 9–13, 14–18, 19–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 & Over.
• Duathlon: Homemade Apple Pies awarded to the Top 5 Finishers (Male and Female) Overall.
