Meeting Overview

The Ebensburg Municipal Authority is scheduled to hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 4:00 p. m. The meeting will take place at the Borough office located at 300 West High Street, Ebensburg, PA.

Agenda Highlights

Consent Agenda (Routine Items)

The following items are considered routine and will be acted upon by a single motion unless members request separate discussion:

  • Approval of the minutes from the November 2024 meeting.
  • Approval of the Financial Statement for November 2024.
  • Approval of bills for December 2024 (Totaling $157,813. 60).

Engineering & Operations Reports

  • Inframark Report: Luke Byrne will provide updates on Wastewater and Water Treatment Plant operations.
  • Operations & Maintenance: Josh Surkovich will report on public works department activities.

Financial Approvals (Engineer Section)

The Authority is asked to review and approve several contractor payments and requisitions:

  • Water Line Replacement: Approve payment request #8 to Guyer Brothers for $292,887. 63.
  • Pennvest Requisition #11: Approve requisition for contract 82248 (Waterline Replacement) in the amount of $329,017. 87.
  • Stormwater Project: Approve payment request #3 to Liberoni for $286,344. 36.
  • Stormwater Project Requisition #6: Approve requisition for contract 58143 in the amount of $33,651. 44.
  • H2O Reimbursement: Approve reimbursement request #1 for eligible construction costs in the amount of $269,565. 37.

General Business & Future Planning

  • Engineering Services Agreement: Staff recommends approval of the 2025 Service Agreement with Stiffler-McGraw.
  • 2025 Meeting Schedule: The Authority will schedule regular meetings for the 4th Monday of each month at 6:30 p. m. , with exceptions for May and December (held on the 3rd Monday).

Other Items

  • Executive Session: A closed session will be held to discuss real estate and receive legal advice.
  • Public & Media Comments: Opportunities are provided for the public and media to comment on agenda items or other issues.
