Celebrate the Spirit of Fall on the Ghost Town Trail

Event Overview

Join the Ebensburg Main Street Partnership for the 12th annual fall foliage bicycle ride and walk along the Ghost Town Trail. The event is scheduled for Sunday, October 5th, with a bus departure at 2:00 pm.

Logistics and Transportation

Participants are invited to drop their bikes at the Ebensburg Trailhead (YPCC), drive to their chosen destination, and park their cars. A shuttle bus will transport riders back to the trailhead after they finish.

• Bus Pickup Schedule:
  • Saylor Park (Blairsville): 12:30 pm
  • Dilltown: 1:00 pm
  • Vintondale: 1:30 pm
• Return Trip: The bus will return to the Ebensburg Trailhead with an intended start time of 2:00 pm.
• Bike Transport: Participants must have a bike rack or trailer to transport their bikes back to their vehicles after the ride.
• Walkers: Walkers are also welcome to participate.

Registration Details

Registrations are accepted through Wednesday, October 1st, or until the bus is full. Participants must provide their name, address, and phone/email. If catching the shuttle back, you must circle your destination (Saylor Park, Dilltown, or Vintondale) on the form.

Important Notes

• Weather Policy: The event is weather permitting. In the case of rain, the shuttle will be canceled.
• Group Rides: If riding with a group, please have the group wait at the YPCC trailhead to allow for more participants.
