Consent Agenda (Item 2)
The following routine items are recommended for approval by a single motion:
- Item 10A: Approval of minutes from the May 2023 regular monthly meeting.
- Item 10B: Approval of the Financial Statement for May 2023.
- Item 10C: Approval of payment of bills for June 2023.
Inframark Reports (Item 5)
- Wastewater Treatment Plant: Mike Montgomery will provide a report on projects and activities.
- Water Treatment Plant: Luke Byrne will provide a report on projects and activities.
Engineer Reports (Item 8)
Several financial requests and change orders are under review:
- High Street Waterline Project: Approval of Contractor Payment Request #10 for W. A. Petrakis in the amount of $221,195. 05.
- PENNVEST Requisition #11: Submitted for approval (amount to be determined).
- Change Order Request #1: Approval of a change order for thermoplastic roadway markings in the amount of $14,956. 30.
- Change Order Request #2: Approval of an additional $4,201. 50 for documented crew downtime due to inoperable valves outside the project scope.
- Change Order Request #3: Approval of an additional $14,060. 20 based on the escalation of oil prices affecting asphalt costs.
- Influent Valve Replacement: Approval of payment to Hickes in the amount of $8,827. 17 for work outside the original quote.
General Business (Item 10)
- Hydrovac Machine: The Authority received one bid from A & H Equipment Company for a used Truvac Paradigm Excavator (2017 Freightliner MR 106). The recommended action is to approve the bid for $237,000. The cost will be split three ways between Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater Funds.
- Financial Statement: Approval of the financial statement for February 2023.
- Bills: Approval of a list of bills totaling $177,996. 78 for June.
Other Items
- Operations & Maintenance Report: Josh Surkovich will report on public works department activities.
- Executive Session: The meeting will conclude with an executive session to receive advice from legal counsel.
