Agenda Highlights
1. Public Comments Members of the public are invited to comment on any agenda item.
2. Consent Agenda The following routine items will be approved by a single motion unless separate discussion is requested:
- Approval of minutes from the June 2023 regular monthly meeting.
- Approval of the Financial Statement for June 2023.
- Approval of payment of bills for July 2023.
5. Inframark Reports
- Wastewater Treatment Plant: Mike Montgomery will provide a report on projects and activities.
- Water Treatment Plant: Luke Byrne will provide a report on projects and activities.
6. Operations & Maintenance Report Josh Surkovich will report on the public works department's activities for the month.
7. Solicitor
- Nathan’s Divide: Acceptance of a lease termination notice from Nathan's Divide.
- Tax Exemption: Recording the receipt of tax exemption status for 747 N. Julian Street.
8. Engineer (Pennvest & Projects)
- High Street Waterline Project: Approval of Contractor Payment Request #11 for W. A. Petrakis in the amount of $19,157. 80.
- Pennvest Requisition #12: Approval of reimbursement request in the amount of $3,431. 37.
- Waterline Replacement Applications: Authorization for letters of responsibility and resolutions to secure Pennvest funding for replacing antiquated waterlines.
- Lead Service Line Replacement Applications: Authorization for letters of responsibility and resolutions to secure Pennvest funding for replacing lead service lines.
10. General Business
- Minutes: Approval of minutes from previous meeting(s).
- Financial Statement: Approval of the financial statement for February 2023.
- Bills: Approval of a list of bills totaling $194,004. 01 for June.
13. Executive Session The meeting will move to an executive session to receive advice from legal counsel.
